Looking Back, Moving Forward: Your Year-End Reflection

As the year comes to a close, let’s take a moment to reflect on everything that has happened this year—both the good and not-so-good. Imagine we’re chatting over a cup of coffee, and I’m asking you some questions to help us make sense of it all.

What were the three most pivotal moments of the past year?

Think about the times that made you go, “Wow, that was a big deal!” It could be anything, from getting a new job to meeting someone special.

In a few words, how would you describe the overall trajectory of this year?

If you had to sum up the whole year in just a few words, what would they be? Maybe it was a year of challenges, joy, or change. What stands out the most?

Was it a year of learning, sadness, happiness, making new connections, or something else?

Think about the feelings you had this year. Did you learn new things, go through tough times, feel lots of love, or see lots of changes? It could be a mix of these or something completely different.

What needs completion for you to be ready to embrace the next year?

As we look ahead, is there something you need to wrap up? Maybe there’s a talk you need to have, a person you want to thank, an apology waiting to be said, or a big achievement you haven’t celebrated yet.

These questions are like a little map to help you figure out where you’ve been and where you’re going. Your story is special, and taking a moment to think about these things can help you step into the new year feeling clear and ready. So, grab a pen, jot down your thoughts, and get ready for whatever comes next. Here’s to you and all the adventures waiting for you in 2024!
